We like to keep things clear and simple. Before we start any treatment, you’ll know what it costs and what your insurance covers, so there are no surprises along the way.
How are our fees set?
The Dutch Healthcare Authority (NZa) sets the fees for dental care every year. Each procedure has its own code and a fixed price. Your invoice shows exactly which codes we’ve used.
Estimate in advance
If a treatment costs more than €250, you’ll receive a written estimate beforehand. For smaller amounts, we’ll explain the costs verbally. You can always check the estimate with your insurer first.
What does your health insurance cover?
| Situation | Compensation |
|---|---|
| Children and teenagers up to the age of 18 | Most dental care is covered by basic health insurance. Crowns, bridges and braces are usually not included. |
| Adults aged 18 and over | You pay yourself, unless you have supplementary dental insurance. Check your policy to see how much it covers. |
| Full dentures | Partly covered by basic health insurance. Your compulsory excess (eigen risico) applies. |
Payment
You’ll receive your invoice from Infomedics. They send and collect invoices on our behalf, so we can give our full attention to your care.
Does your health insurer cover part of the cost? This will be clearly shown on the invoice, and you only pay the remaining amount to Infomedics. For questions about how much is reimbursed, please contact your health insurer. No reimbursement shown on the invoice? Pay the full amount, then check whether you can still submit the invoice to your health insurer.
Manage it online
